Please read the following before commenting!
Thank you for dropping by my page. Before you continue, there are a few things I think you might need to know:
I am an atheist. This means that I do not believe in god/gods. This includes the god of the Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam).
I likely will not convert to your religion. However, if you can present a convincing argument, that might change. My mind is open.
My work is often controversial. You may not always agree with it. Please, do not confuse an opposing opinion with "hate art."
FAQ #12: deviantART doesn't allow 'Hate Art', 'Hate Speech' or 'Hate Propaganda', what is this?
I can get frustrated from time to time. I'm a human being. If I lose my cool, I truly do apologize in advance. The topics I cover are very sensitive to many people, myself included. So it is to be expected that tensions may rise. I will try to award the same understanding to you, as I'm sure I'm not always the most fun to deal with.
I will treat you with respect so long as you are deserving of it. I'm not saying you have to agree with me, or that you always have to be on your best Disney channel behavior. Rather, please just try to avoid saying things that might get you in trouble with dA. Basically, if you act like a douche, you will be treated like a douche in return.
Please do not spam my deviations with similar/identical comments. Leaving comments that say things like, "God bless you!" on several stamps is an example. If you really feel the need to say that, do it once. Don't waste your and my time by doing it over and over again.
If you've been blocked, DO NOT use other accounts to contact me. If you've been blocked it will have been for a valid reason. Circumventing blocks is not tolerated by me, or by deviantART for that matter. This includes using accounts of other deviants to contact me, fyi.
It is impossible for me to respond to every single comment. I am only human. I try to keep up with as many as I can, but please do not be offended if I suddenly drop out of conversations - I can have several comment threads going at a time and it does get to be a bit much to keep up with. On top of that, there's responsibilities that I have outside of deviantART, so again, please try to understand.
Please do not ask to have your comments hidden. Comments posted will not be hidden unless they violate dA's rules. If they do, they will be hidden and reported.
Do not complain to me if your inbox is filling up because of a comment you left on my art. It is not my problem. I've had several people contact me telling me they've been getting a bunch of comments because of a single comment they've left on my page. I am not responsible for what others choose to do. Additionally, consider it a learning experience -- think about what you say before you say it.

Ex-Christians is a group for former, deconverted, currently leaving, or doubting Christians. It is here to support former Christians who may feel alone, isolated, disconnected, etc, from their previous religious communities and might not have the same equivalent communal support to turn to in a time of transition and potential difficulty.
inDISPUTE is a group dedicated to encouraging its members and other members of the deviantART community to practice more respectful discussion about the topics at hand. We encourage people to be skeptical of opinions -- including their own. Moreover, we aim to be a positive role model for younger deviants, who are just beginning to form their own opinions and beliefs about the world. Presenting thoughtful debate to others is a great way to help undecided audiences reach conclusions of their own, so bring your A game!
