Wanted to make a newer version of this. So here it is:
I love my relatives and I know that some of them are older and set in their ways, but I sometimes get a bit irritated at the constant stream of verses and reminders of God and Jesus loving me that seems to come from them. One recent message included, "...and have a Merry CHRISTmas..."
I respect the fact that you're Christian. I have no problem with it. Embrace your beliefs, embrace your religion and your God. But please stop assuming that I'm going to suddenly fall to my knees and accept Jesus as my savior because you've thrown a handful of bible verses at me, hoping that any one of them will stick.
