Description
ASMR or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, is a term that's used to describe that tingly feeling that you may occasionally experience on the top/back of your head/scalp/neck when you hear certain sounds.
There are two types of ASMR:
Type A: is triggered by no external stimuli, and are achieved through specific thought patterns specific to the individual.
Type B: is triggered involuntarily by an external trigger via one or more senses, and may also involve specific thought patterns associated with the triggering event.
So basically, they're orgasms for your brain.
Common external triggers include:
Common external triggers:
Exposure to slow, accented, or unique speech patterns
Viewing educational or instructive videos or lectures
Experiencing a high empathetic or sympathetic reaction to an event
Enjoying a piece of art or music
Watching another person complete a task, often in a diligent, attentive manner - examples would be filling out a form, writing a check, going through a purse or bag, inspecting an item closely, etc.
Close, personal attention from another person
Haircuts, or other touch from another on head or back
So, do you ever experience ASMR?

Kennylpj has some as well. In particular I love the construction paper one.. Haha.
There's heaps more out there, and while it might seem sort of creepy at first (I know I thought so in the beginning), if you experience ASMR, you won't be disappointed.
