Stamp: Less Trustworthy than Sex Offenders My Ass

One day when I move back to the United States to raise my family, I'll undoubtedly be raising my children as atheists, at least until an age when they are experienced and knowledgeable enough to make the decision about their beliefs for themselves.

Something I'm concerned about is that Atheists seem to be seen as awful human beings by religious people. We're less trusted than rapists. I mean, just look at this forum thread that ~Mephistophilez linked to me: "Atheists Should Be Registered Like Sex Offenders!"
*Apparently that site was meant to be satirical, says ~Mephistophilez, but it's still pretty scary nonetheless lol... The story is apparently true though. Here are some links:

It's enough to encourage me to raise my kids only in my home state of Washington (or in Oregon), since they are fairly liberal states in the first place. Yup. So. That's that.
